How image processing works

SnipMagic's current crop, resize, conversion, merge, avatar, and background-removal workflows process selected images in your browser. We do not intentionally upload those images to SnipMagic servers. Some tools download code, fonts, or machine-learning model files from third-party content delivery networks so the processing can run on your device.

Information collected automatically

When you visit SnipMagic, we and our service providers may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, approximate location, referring page, pages viewed, interactions, and diagnostic information. We use this data to operate the site, understand feature usage, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.

Analytics and infrastructure providers

SnipMagic currently uses the following services:

  • Google Analytics for aggregated site and feature-usage measurement.
  • Microsoft Clarity for interaction diagnostics such as session replays and heatmaps.
  • Umami for privacy-focused traffic analytics.
  • Cloudflare for hosting, delivery, security, and traffic protection.

Advertising and cookies

SnipMagic uses Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on a visitor's prior visits to SnipMagic or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to show ads based on visits to this site and other sites on the internet.

You can manage or opt out of personalized Google advertising through Google Ads Settings. You can learn more about how Google uses information from partner sites on Google's partner-sites page.

Consent and privacy choices

Where required, SnipMagic uses a consent message to request or record advertising and analytics choices. You can also restrict cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may change the ads you see and may limit some measurement features.

Data retention and sharing

Analytics, advertising, infrastructure, and security providers retain data according to their own settings and privacy policies. We do not sell uploaded images. We may disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect the site, users, or the public from fraud, abuse, or security threats.

Contact and policy changes

We may update this policy as the service or applicable requirements change. Questions about this policy can be sent to [email protected].
